no, I just... this picture sprang out of nothing except the desire to draw something with obnoxious colours (and more desert scenes, derrrrp I swear this isn't as intentional as it looks), but that song came on when I was finishing this and it fits so well except it's a wolf and not, you know, a deer
get out of the road u dum wolf
stoopid stoopid
also why are you bigger than any car that would fit on that road that makes no sense you are a wolf
I swear I need to let sketches sit for a day before I colour because right now what is perspective
i still really like this though. Like at least you can tell what's going on in the thumbnail this time
omg I swear every night I'm going to go to bed at like, 11 but then I get caught up in something, like drawing and suddenly it's 3 AM how could dis hapen
damn my tendency to hyperfocus >:T
Critiques are good but yeah, I know the perspective is broken, sooo
I guess the only thing to work on is perspective like you mentioned. The fisheye thing going is working, but I was confused at the size of of the dog compared to the canyons. At first I thought he was riding on the top of a car or something, because he seems so upfront and large.
but damn this is beautiful- great use of leading lines! and not to mention that blue and orange hmm- my fav complimentary combo!
I don't think the perspective here is a big deal, as the overall image works very well, and it has got charming colours and atmosphere. So congrats, a really cool one!
I really like the wild perspective. Doesn't matter if it seems "broken".... it's not broken, it's artistic freedom I also really like the texture you used over the image. Do you make the textures yourself, or is it from a stock source?
For the rest, I kept each "main" shade in the sky and road on separate locked layers, and scribbled in with the flat bristle brush in SAI, varying hue and saturation by hand and I think that's the bulk of the texture :>

made him look cool. LOVE that style
I used one of these: [link] and desaturated.
