You are a master at getting that painterly look! I have yet to really figure that out. I adore this- the colors are so warm and happy and just make me smile so much. And the rendering of those trees- just lovely!!!
I just love how you can see all the brushstrokes like that- but it's not flat looking. I don't know how to explain it, but I love how this is so expressive and loose.

And speaking of languages, there's an awesome guy at my college and he's Cuban and Vekke, I don't know if you've heard that accent but I can just barely understand it! And it's so embarrassing x_x He swallows the endings of half the words he says! And speaks faster than anyone I've ever heard. It makes me seem like I don't really know much Spanish at all... D:
During break I am determined to try and get better at understanding the accent... somehow. Haha. OH and don't get me started on all the slang he uses! It's so awesome to hear Spanish spoken in such a different way than I'm used to. I think slang is pretty neat too- I just need to learn some of it so I know what on earth he's talking about!

ahhh Cuban Spanish! I haven't actually heard it much but I just found a clip from a Cuban telenovela on youtube just to hear xD It reminds me of Puerto Rican and Dominican accents! It totally took me a while to get used to after hearing mostly Mexican Spanish haha! you know how when you're just learning a new language and you're listening, and you hear a word but you don't really understand it, then like, a minute later you're like "oh yeah THAT'S what they just said!" kind of goes the same way with accents I'm not too used to as well, though for spanish it's a bit easier xD the slang is always scary though, there's no way around that D:
