apparently I'm the only person that feels this way; I couldn't find any stamps to the effect, so I made my own.
I think it's just so obnoxious when people are all
"OH MY GOD, MY ART IS ON A POLISH RP BLOG???
KILL THEM, MY GOOD FANBASE"
It is NOT A BIG DEAL. they're not even claiming they drew it. There are worse "copyright infringements" that could happen. It doesn't hurt you, if anything it's pimping your art.
Especially when it's fanart, lol. That's not even entirely legal for you to be drawing in the first place, it's just that the big companies don't really care, it just promotes their movie really.
Finally! Someone else who thinks some of these people are a little over the top! Like it has gotten ridiculous, smalltime artists who see a single picture on a blog, then threaten to bring their lawyers into the picture, even though chances are the people doing the blog don't read english, and therefore can't read the warnings everyone post under their works. Oh! Then there are those people who really stretch with the accusations of theft, for more than one person using the same colour on their OC's. If you ask me, people need more common sense. Thanks so much for coming up with the stamp though!

ESPECIALLY on the Polish blogs, people unneccesarily freak out. Because if they look, these blog owners have a link to every single artist they used art from! The only reason I say 'no' to them is because 90% of my art is commissions. Other people's characters. And I personally don't think it's MY decision to allow someone to put someone ELSES character on their blog, whether I drew it or not, you know? If only I could speak their language and easily tell them this, I would. But since all of them use a horrible free online translator, telling them that they can only take certain images is a lost cause XD They don't understand at all.
It's never happened to me (the polish blog thing), but a lot of my Warriors art appears on crappy videos and if I happen to know the person who made it on a forum or something then I PM and kindly ask them if they could credit me. People seem to ask permission to put the art on a vid a lot more now, which is really cool beans.

I haven't felt it was a big deal they are not selling the work, nor are the claiming it. My art gets passed around message boards often with out a link; I really don't care because it's free exposure. ANNNND freaking out looks so unprofessional!
Yeah, I tell people not to use commissions. I'm way too lazy to police the internet for my art in random places though. XD usually people tell me, or else I just never know.
Haaa. I'm sure polish does not translate well at all in online translators. 8( you could write a form letter and then ask a polish artist to translate it. x) Seems like there are quite a few Polish-speaking artists around here. x)
I know. XD It's probably going to reflect way worse on you as an artist if you just... freak out at everyone who even mentions one of your drawings. 8|
Even without a link back all people need to do is search the name in the signature and then voilà. moar fans!
Yeah, I've gotten a lot of people asking, about my, what, 3 pieces of fanart. XD I usually throw a signature on my art anyway just in case there's no link back (which is actually useless since "antonia follano" doesn't turn up hardly anything on google; I should fix that. XD). But I get a lot of people asking... which I take to mean a lot of people do ask first. x)
if they did, they'd probably just lose a ton of money because suing someone is not cheap. plus they'd just be laughed out of court due to nobody caring about 13-year-olds not making money off someone's art.
